Doggett Reaches 1,000 Career Digs in Friday Night Action

Daylee Doggett reached 1,000 career digs for UT Permian Basin Friday night at St. Mary’s.  The junior had eight digs in the road effort.  

Offensively the Falcons were powered by Aquincia Strambler with 13 kills on a .370 hitting percentage.  She was followed by Logan Terrazas with six kills on a .211 hitting percentage.

After dropping the first set, the Falcons battled in the second set.  They trailed 17-10 before making a 4-1 run to climb back in it.  A late 3-0 run brought them back in the set, but they couldn’t close it to fall behind by two sets.  In the third they couldn’t slow down the Rattlers, eventually falling in three sets.
