GOLF: MC Chaps Open the Fall Slate at Andrews

An eager and young MC golf team will enter their first competition of the school year at the Andrews Country Club / College Amateur Invitational in Andrews, Texas.  Teams will play a total of 36 holes in the event which will be held at the Andrews Country Club (par 70, 6308 yards). 

The Chaps, led by multiple time National Coach of the Year, Walt Williams has four returning members of the 2022 NJCAA 3rd place team.  Those members are Richman Houston and Davis Seybert, both from Midland along with Kyle Kistensamy and Alfie Robinson.  Kistensamy is a native of South Africa and Robinson is from England.

Newcomers to the team include Max Cavazos (Boerne, TX), Jack Cubitt (Durban, Republic of South Africa), Mitchell Kalka (Frisco, TX), Vince Laplante (Montreal, Canada), Thomas Vestergaard (Odesne, Denmark), Tom Watson (Lancashire, England) and transfer Chris Wardup (Georgetown, TX).  Wardup was previously a member of the University of San Diego golf team.
