UT Permian Basin Men’s Tennis got their recruiting class started with a bang with the addition of Vitaliy Horovoy.  Horovoy comes from Kiev, Ukraine where the left-hander has plenty of experience internationally including wins over players ranked among the top-500 junior players in the world.  Recently he won the Belgrade Open in singles and boasts a Universal Tennis Rating of 10.54.

“Vitaliy is a very mature, hard-working player who has overcome a lot of obstacles to come to the United States and play at UTPB,” said Head Coach Stan Anderson.  “He has an excellent forehand and is an aggressive player.  His determination is what sets himself apart from the competition and we anticipate him coming in and competing for a top three spot right away.”
