Rep. Tony Gonzales, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’s 23rd District since 2021, shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets over the weekend.

On May 17, 2025, Gonzales addressed concerns about border security and law enforcement challenges. He stated, “Evading law enforcement endangers innocent lives—cases like this are a very unfortunate reality along the border.” He emphasized the need for stricter penalties for those who threaten U.S. Border Patrol agents and others, mentioning that the House had moved legislation to address this issue.

Later that day, Gonzales expressed his appreciation for America’s military forces on Armed Forces Day. He tweeted, “America’s armed forces are the best in the world.” In his message, he honored those who defend and protect the United States.

On May 18, 2025, Gonzales highlighted his team’s participation in an event celebrating Armed Forces Day with Old Ironsides. He shared his gratitude for American soldiers by stating, “My team joined the Old Ironsides today to celebrate Armed Forces Day.”

Tony Gonzales was born in 1980 and currently resides in San Antonio. He graduated from Excelsior College with a Bachelor of Science degree.
