Rep. Tony Gonzales, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 23rd District since 2021, shared updates this week on meetings with local San Antonio organizations and officials via his social media account.
On March 26, Gonzales posted about a meeting with VIA Transit representatives: “Great meeting with representatives from VIA Transit for #SAtoDC this week. Appreciate all their hard work and I enjoyed hosting each of you in our Washington, D.C. office.”
The following day, he highlighted another engagement with business leaders: “This week, I had a productive meeting with members of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. Appreciated covering many of the important topics related to economic development in the San Antonio area.” This post was made on March 27.
Later that same day, Gonzales referenced San Antonio’s unique historical status: “San Antonio is home to the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas. I met with National Historic Park representatives for the San Antonio Missions this week to discuss San Antonio’s heritage and tourism economy.”
Gonzales, who was born in 1980 and currently resides in San Antonio, has consistently engaged with local stakeholders throughout his tenure. He graduated from Excelsior College with a Bachelor of Science degree.
