He stated, “Building a budget that cuts wasteful spending and protects tried and true programs, like Medicaid, is a top priority.” This post outlined his commitment to maintaining essential health programs while seeking to reduce unnecessary expenditures.
On April 20, 2025, Easter Sunday, Gonzales expressed Easter greetings by sharing another scriptural reference, “He is not here; he is risen, just as he said.” Matthew 28:6. He accompanied the quote with personal well wishes, saying, “From my family to yours—we wish you a happy and blessed Easter.”
