Strambler, Doggett Earn All-LSC Honors

Two of UT Permian Basin Volleyball's best were honored by the Lone Star Conference on Wednesday.  Senior Aquincia Strambler was named to the All-Conference First Team for the second straight year while junior Daylee Doggett earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.

Strambler had another sensational season for the Falcons in her final year.  She led the team with 320 kills, 11th most in the LSC.  She also showed off her defensive game with a career high 191 digs and 52 blocks.  She recorded double digit kills in her last nine games and went over the 20 kill mark four times in that stretch.  The Midland native had a double-double in seven LSC contests including each of the final four games.  Strambler ended her Falcon career with 1,334 kills, the second most in program history and 498 digs.

Doggett was a big part of the Falcon defense which ranked sixth in the conference in opponent hitting percentage.  She finished the year with 440 digs and 42 service aces, both more than double the next closest Falcon.  The Justin native was consistent all season long, finishing all but three games with double digit digs and had at least 20 in a game eight times.
