Women's Basketball
Andreea Mancha - Alvin, Texas - Junior - Mancha erupted last weekend for 22.5 points per game, including a 28-point outburst at Colorado Christian. The junior nearly came away with a triple-double on Saturday to go along with her 28 points, dishing out seven assists and grabbing six rebounds. This came on the heels of a 17-point performance against Metro State Denver in which she grabbed four rebounds.
Holly Hemmeline - Denver City, Texas - Junior - Hemmeline continues to fill the stat sheet with back-to-back double digit scoring efforts. The junior had 12 points in both games last weekend and is second on the team at 12.8 points per game.
Men's Basketball
DaJuan Jones - Killeen, Texas - Senior - Jones led the Falcons to a perfect Thanksgiving weekend with a pair of double-doubles. The senior scored 17 points, with seven coming from the charity stripe, along with 10 assists to pull out an overtime win. Then on Saturday he made 14 free throws as part of a game-high 18 points to go along with 10 more assists. Jones became the first player in the LSC with a 10-assist game, doing so in back-to-back contests.
Jalen King - Columbus, Georgia - Junior - King had a monster Friday in the Falcons' overtime win over Ecclesia. The junior had 25 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double as a Falcon.
