A Message from the El Paso Community College President
Once again, our city has tragically experienced a shooting incident forcing individuals on our campuses to shelter in place. We stand in solidarity with our community. We are grateful for the rapid efforts of law enforcement and first responders as well as the timely efforts of the EPCC Police Department to secure our Administrative Service Center and Valle Verde Campus. The shelter in place has been lifted and regular activities can resume.
The safety and well-being of our campus community remains a priority. We know these circumstances are stressful and traumatic. Any students or staff who need additional support or want to talk about this event are encouraged to talk to campus counselors. Individuals may also contact Emergence Health Network’s 24-hour Crisis Line at 915-779-1800.
