Women’s Day Highlighted with the Diamond Award
The El Paso Community College (EPCC) Diversity and Inclusion Programs honored college leaders at the annual Diamond Awards as part of Women's History Month and International Women's Day.
Ms. Josette Shaughnessy, EPCC Vice-President for Financial and Administrative Operations, was the Keynote Speaker and excited the audience with her story that was in the theme of Women's History Month: “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories"At the 13th annual ceremony, 12 women were honored. Since the start of this event, over 500 have been recognized for their service to EPCC and the community.
Diversity and Inclusion strives to foster and promote cultural awareness and respect among employees, our students, and the surrounding El Paso community. Our target is to educate and disseminate information that highlights and celebrates the numerous cultures which construct and impact our world.
