Buena Vista ISD Education: 240 students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 240 students enrolled in Buena Vista ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.1% of them were girls, and 47.9% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 74.6% of the Buena Vista ISD total enrollment.

Buena Vista ISD roughly covers schools within Pecos County with its main office in Imperial.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
