84.7% of Terrell County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 979 citizens living in Terrell County in 2021, 84.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 829 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 417 were male, constituting 50.3%, and 412 were female, making up 49.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Terrell County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
