Rep. Tony Gonzales, who has represented Texas's 23rd District in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently shared insights from his travels and meetings through a series of tweets. Born in 1980 and residing in San Antonio, Gonzales has been active in international and domestic discussions, as evidenced by his recent social media activity.

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Gonzales tweeted about his trip to Europe with Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Weimer. He emphasized the importance of supporting troops who are at the forefront of defending national interests: "Recently, I traveled to Europe with Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Weimer."

In a subsequent tweet on February 21, 2025, Gonzales highlighted the efforts of the U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juárez to maintain a robust legal immigration system and combat organized crime: "The U.S. Consulate General in Ciudad Juárez is doing top-tier work to uphold our LEGAL immigration system and keep it free from fraud."

Later that day, he discussed his meeting with Mexican officials, including Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar and representatives from Chihuahua state government, stressing the importance of U.S.-Mexico relations: "The U.S. and Mexico will always be neighbors, and should be strong partners on security, the economy, and much more."
