On March 13, 2025, Rep. Gonzales tweeted about hosting a roundtable discussion with business leaders in San Antonio to discuss the city's diverse industries with the French Ambassador. He emphasized the importance of building upon the economic partnership between France and the United States, describing it as beneficial for both nations. Later that day, Rep. Gonzales highlighted San Antonio's reputation as "Cyber City USA," attributing part of this recognition to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).
