Sul Ross State falls 26-15 to Texas A&M Kingsville in D-III baseball matchup

At 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, the Sul Ross State Lobos, featuring former Fort Stockton High School standout Rylan Nunez, were defeated 26-15 by the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas in an NCAA Division III baseball contest.

Kokernot Field served as the venue for their fourth meeting against the Javelinas this season. The Lobos also fell in their prior game Saturday, Feb. 28, losing 9-2.

Nunez gave up four earned runs and issued one walk in one inning pitched.

The Lobos are set to play next on Thursday, March 5, at 11:30 a.m. against the St. Edward’s Hilltoppers at Lucian-Hamilton Field.
