On June 4, 2025, Rep. Gonzales expressed concerns over national security threats posed by unmanned aerial vehicles. He highlighted the potential danger by referencing Ukraine’s successful use of drones against Russia’s Air Force, suggesting that similar tactics could be employed by adversaries against the United States. “The fact that we don’t have a pulse on how many drones are in our airspace is a national security threat.”
Later that day, Rep. Gonzales provided an update on his activities during the first six months of the 119th Congress.
