Rep. Tony Gonzales, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’s 23rd District since 2021, has recently shared his views and initiatives through social media posts. The congressman, who resides in San Antonio and holds a BS from Excelsior College, addressed several issues ranging from national security to educational achievements.

On January 30, 2025, Rep. Gonzales expressed support for executive actions taken by President Trump concerning visa policies. In his tweet, he stated: “Here’s a much-needed lesson to the terrorist sympathizers on our college campuses: Support Hamas = Lose your visa. I’m glad to see President Trump take executive action on one of my top priorities–enforcing the law and revoking the visas of Hamas sympathizers.”

Later that day, Gonzales congratulated winners of the Congressional App Challenge from Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio. He tweeted: “Congrats to #TX23’s Congressional App Challenge winners Constantine Chiu, Siddarth Amaradhi, and Radhika Amaradhi from Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio! Their app, SimLab, is designed to help make high school physics laboratory work more effective and educational.”

On February 1, 2025, Rep. Gonzales highlighted concerns regarding national security threats posed by Tren de Aragua (TDA). He mentioned ongoing developments aimed at curbing TDA’s influence within the United States in his post: “Tren de Aragua is a national security threat—major developments are underway to stop TDA’s reach in the U.S.”
