EPCC Celebrates the Written Word at the Literary Fiesta

El Paso Community College (EPCC) will hold its 14th annual Literary Fiesta from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22 at the El Paso Community College Northwest Campus Jenna Welch & Laura Bush Community Library, 6701 S. Desert Blvd. El Paso, TX 79932. The Literary Fiesta's special guest will be New Mexico's author Lisa Lucca, author of Ashes to Ink. Lucca a public radio host of Live True, shares her story of going from rebel to guide along a challenging path of trial and error.

The Literary Fiesta highlights books, writers, and readers with activities for people of all ages is a great event for the entire community to bring there as we will be offering a wide variety of activities, including a children's corner, free books, story time, workshops, food, and crafts.

Creative Kids a 23-year-old internationally-recognized non-profit art education agency will take kids through the art of cyanotype – a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print - also known as sun printing.

Literary Fiesta is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by the EPCC Office of the President, Salute to the Arts. For details, visit http://literaryfiesta.wordpress.com.
