Freshman Sebastian Bengtsson continued his sensational start on Tuesday, recording his second top five finish in a row. The freshman tied for fifth at the Midwestern State Invitational at -2. It is also his third straight top 10 finish.
Bengtsson shot a +1 on the final day of the event, but his strong opening day helped him to his high finish. The key to his finish was consistency, finishing with 38 birdies the third most in the field. He was also one of the top scorers on par 4's, carding a -1 score on them all week.
Kalle Svederman finished strong with a -1 to turn in a score of +4 for the event. He was one of very few players to record an eagle after holing out on the 17th in the third round. Behind him was Sangha Park at +6 after a final round of +1. Thonsaeng Nunya finished at +9 while Frithjof Rasmussen turned in a final score of +13.
