El Paso Community College (EPCC) held its 14th annual Literary Fiesta on Saturday, October 22 at the El Paso Community College Northwest Campus Jenna Welch & Laura Bush Community Library.
The Literary Fiesta's Legacy Award Winner and special guest was New Mexico's author Lisa Lucca, author of Ashes to Ink. Lucca a public radio host of Live True, shares her story of going from rebel to guide along a challenging path of trial and error.
The Literary Fiesta highlighted books, writers, and readers with activities for people of all ages. The event offered a wide variety of activities, including a children's corner, free books, story time, workshops, food and crafts.
Creative Kids, a 23-year-old internationally-recognized non-profit art education agency, took kids through the art of cyanotype – a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print - also known as sun printing.
