U.S. Representative Tony Gonzales, a congressional leader representing Texas's 23rd District since 2021, recently shared several messages on social media. These posts address topics ranging from educational achievements to policy critiques and legislative proposals.

On April 15, 2025, Rep. Gonzales announced the success of the Terlingua CSD High School Robotics Team. In a social media post, he expressed his support for the team as they "head to state in Corpus Christi next month," extending his well wishes to "these young innovators from Brewster County" ("Original quotation").

Later the same day, Rep. Gonzales critiqued the previous administration regarding border enforcement challenges. He stated, "For four years the Biden administration tied the hands of our Border Patrol Agents, making it impossible for them to do their jobs. Those days are long gone with this administration in charge." ("Original quotation").

On April 16, 2025, Rep. Gonzales expressed concern about school violence. He advocated for a comprehensive strategy to ensure school safety in a crisis situation, mentioning his support for "a comprehensive, national school safety strategy to ensure all campuses are prepared in the event of a mass shooting. My bipartisan bill would do just that. It's time to move this" ("Original quotation").

Tony Gonzales, 42, was born in 1980 and currently resides in San Antonio. He graduated from Excelsior College with a Bachelor of Science.
